Administrative are jobs such secretary and researchers. A secretary’s job contains a lot of different project management. A secretary doesn’t work on production but most of the jobs will correspond with typing out letters, file management and organise meetings. A researchers job in the TV industry could be find information for documentaries, find studio audience and star guests for talk shows.

 A runners job is very simple where you have to do task for other members of the cast and crew, such as getting then things or pieces of equipment. Being a runner is the first job most people will get when starting out in the media indusrty, that is so you have your foot in the door so to speak and see what direction you want to go. If you want to be a camera operator or director you can see what the job intales by work behind the scenes.

Legal jobs in the industry are such jobs like media lawyer and executive producer.

An executive producer job in TV is someone who deals with the business aspect of production were as in film the executive producer can be the person who wrote the story as a book or a play which the film is based on, but an executive producer is the person representing the financial side of the production. In music the executive producer is normally in charge of the project as director but is also controls the business side of production, distribution and promotion.                 

Copyright lawyers, it is there job to copyright the film or music names so that it belongs to the production company. Generally these types of lawyers will help there client apllying for copyright and representing the clients in cases over copyright ownership and the usage of copyrighted material.

Creative

There are many types of types of jobs in the creative side of the media sector including:

A graphic designer or artist in film and TV you would have to draw the storyboards, design poster and standee to help promote the product. In the video gaming industry a graphic designer or artist would have to create the characters and locations. A graphic designer can work in many different ares of graphic design as they can choose what they want to designs such as album covers, corporate logos or books covers.

A script writer will work very closely with the director, producer, composer and editor. A script writer must be able to write a screenplay which the reader can see the film unfold in thereimagination. Script writers must work to strict deadlines and work with other script developer must make the script the best it can be. When being a script writer you have to deal with reject alot of the time as productions mught not want to uses there screenplays. 

A creative director during the computer games media is a key person during the game devolpment how oversees and high level decisions which are made such as how the game looks, how it sound and how the game plays. the skills which a creative director need to pocess are the ability to inspire a team, good communication and presentation skills and the understanding of what would make a computer game appealing to audience.

Marketing

Marketing in the media is different though the whole of the media as it involves different things such as:   

A sales executive job is to sell advertising space to make more for their company in the different industries .in the radio industry would be responsible for generating income by sell advertising space during the show, but in the interactive industry you would sell advert space on your website or search engines and in the film industry you sell cinema space before films start for adverts. In the print industry you would sell advertising slot in a newspaper or magazine. You also can sell product placement in films where companies will give them money to put their product in a film or TV.

The film promotion side of the sector involves trailer, posters and standees. Companies that make trailers for films, games or music their job are to promote the film, games or music and to get the public taking about it. An artist or graphic designer would design and make the posters and standee, which are all used to promote the film. Promotion in the internet industry you would you have to make viral adverts which would promotion and that viral advert may contain links to an official website or a facebook page where you find out information.

 A publicist job is to promote the client by arranging interviews with TV or newspapers, to arrange photo shoots. The publicist would have to ensure that their client gets good coverage in all media industries.
